Problem with make of clang on Ubuntu Linux

Daniel Marjamäki via cfe-dev
I've tried compiling this on Ubuntu Linux, but I've run into this error:

CMakeFiles/Makefile2:4672: recipe for target 'lib/Target/AArch64/CMakeFiles/LLVMAArch64CodeGen.dir/all' failed

I'm not sure what to do about it.

Run make with VERBOSE=1 and show more of the output.

Thanks. :)

Turns out I didn't give the VM enough disk space. 😅

Sorry, I did respond, saying waiting longer helped, but did not respond to all.

what is the version of your Ubuntu linux?  I have build the Clang/LLVM 2.6, 3.0, 3.9 successfully in my Computer running

on Ubuntu 16.04, intel X86_64 CPU.

My build step is as follow:

1. mkdir a build directory for out of source build.

2. execute the command "cmake ../path to source directory of llvm -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug or Release, it up to you, -DLLVM_TARGETS_TO_BUILD=X86..etc"

   on console.

3. Once the step 2 finished, you can execute "make"
